This was a story I pitched and wrote for The Santa Cruz Sentinel, a local news outlet in Santa Cruz, CA, on how the local drinking water facility handled a series of historic storms. Drinking water was never impacted by the storms despite power outages, landslides and lots of destruction locally. To report this story I visited the facility and interviewed several employees.
